I cannot say enough about Dr Desai. I’m not sure he realizes how he changed my mother life completely. She’s an amputee and was in the verge of losing her other leg due to extreme lack of circulation. He ended up spending 9 hours of surgery on her after complications. But he did it! She’s high risk in every way but he spent the time and got it done. Even after my mom being a difficult patient, he pulled through with her and we appreciate him very much.

I have something called Pelvic Congestion Syndrome, very rare and not really a lot of people know about it! It is not something you can cure BUT Doctor Neil Desai told me that he could help with the symptoms (all the pain) and oh LORD!!! I am so glad that I put my trust in him! He did exactly what he said he was going to do!!! Help me with my pain! I HIGHLY recommend Doctor Neil Desai, He was so knowledgeable and made sure I knew exactly what was going on and made me feel EXTREMELY comfortable! Please if you are having pain in your abdomen (or down there) do not ignore it or just think you have to live with the pain like I was doing! There is something he can do to help you! Dr. Desai literally saved my father’s life. He handled the whole emergency situation with perfection. When we arrived at the hospital emergency room with a leaking abdominal aortic aneurysm. He communicated with my father and our family with professional directness and excellent bedside manner. He skillfully executed a 6 hr surgery to repair a 10 cm diameter actively dissecting aortic aneurysm. His follow up and management of my Fathers post surgical critical state was impeccable. I can not say enough good things about him. I have been a critical care hospital nurse for over 29 yrs. My father would not be alive today if God had not blessed us with Dr Desai and his skill set. He is a truly talented and gifted cardiovascular surgeon!

I went in for a Stent in my leg as I was in extreme pain and numbness in my right leg. Unfortunately the phemoral artery was completely blocked and a Stent was impossible. I was on the operating table already so…Dr.Desai pulled in an emergency team of surgeons to assist him with an 8 hour procedure to save my leg. He had to remove an old bypass that was 100 percent blocked and then install a new bypass from my aorta to both legs. It was a major operation and it happened during the holidays. I lost a ton of blood and I cannot tell you how much I owe this guy. Without him I would be sporting a prosthetic leg today. Instead I am walking normal with 0 leg pain and healing from the incisions.

I recently had to have an unexpected Pulmonary Thrombectomy in Cypress, TX due to blood clots in both lungs. Dr Desai clearly explained the details of this operation and my need to have it that day. Excellent experience with Dr Desai. After open heart surgery and a reaction to Heparain. My body developed blood clots which thanks to Dr Desai he was able to remove two of them one going to my lungs which was preventing me from breathing and another one from the middle of my left leg to my hip. After the lung issue he put in what is known as a filler to prevent any other cloths from reaching my heart. It was just amazing on his care and also has great bedside manor during my 35 days in the hospital. Just can not thank him enough. Very thorough and knowledgeable and know how to explain things to his patients in terminology that they can understand. I would recommend his practice to anyone who needs anything vascular done. He was the best and I thank the lord for bring him to my aid when I needed him. Thanks again Dr Desai.
